MTG’s Historic Anthology IV release
There’s a lot happening in the MTG world right now and it’s getting kind of tough to keep up, especially when there are other popular TCGs out there creating a stir as well. But, one thing is for sure: there’s no shortage of good, informative content in the gaming world right now, which is good news for yours truly! Speaking of news, this latest MTG series release is creating quite a stir among passionate players and followers of the game. So, I thought it would be good for us to have a blog of our own that highlights some of the details linked to the release of MTG’s new Historic Anthology IV.
Let’s take a closer look!
Wizards really went all out to impress and please Historic fans with this newest edition of Historic Anthology, as it adds 25 cards to the arena. The bundle itself costs 25,000 Gold. If you don’t have that kind of gold, you can purchase it for 4,000 Gems instead, and from what I hear so far, it’s definitely worth it! it will provide four copies of each card in the collection. You can also choose to craft these new cards one by one using certain Wildcards that you may have obtained in your travels. That’s not a bad option to have if Gold and Gems are a bit scarce for you at the moment.
Here’s a list of 25 cards included in this bundle:
- Abomination of Llanowar
- Lys Alana Huntmaster
- Hamza, Guardian of Arashin
- Ammit Eternal
- Bonesplitter
- Torment of Scarabs
- Faith of the Devoted
- Inspiring Statuary
- Coldsteel Heart
- Blinkmoth Nexus
- Sawtusk Demolisher
- Triumphant Reckoning
- Declaration in Stone
- Death’s Shadow
- Thraben Inspector
- Adorned Pouncer
- Iceberg Cancrix
- Goblin Gaveleer
- Spider Spawning
- Harmless Offering
- Collected Conjuring
- Marit Lage’s Slumber
- Flameblade Adept
- Think Twice
- Sword of Body and Mind

When and where can you purchase Historic Anthology IV? Well, the fourth edition of Historic Anthology officially came out on March 11th, in case you didn’t already know, and will remain active until June 10th. That gives you three whole months to get to the MTG Arena in-game store and purchase the bundle with the amount of Gold or Gems that we mentioned earlier. And don’t worry, if you wish to create some of your own using Wildcards, you can do so even after the 10th has passed.
I think that covers everything...Oops, I forgot to mention the legality! Historic Anthology IV is legal in the Historic format (no surprise there) and will be playable in that format for the Kaldheim Championship that’s set to take place later on this month. You can get more info on Historic Anthology IV by visiting MTG’s official website!
Now, I think that’s just about everything. Let me know your thoughts on Historic Anthology IV and whether or not you’ve purchased the bundle yet, or if you’re crafting them using Wildcards. Tell me and your fellow readers/gamers all about it in the comments below!
Until we meet again,
