Update on Stitched Edging Playmat Delays - We're Almost There!

At Inked Gaming, we pride ourselves on creating high-quality, customizable products that our customers love, including our fan-favorite playmats. Recently, we've been experiencing an unexpected delay in the availability of our Stitched Edging mats, and we want to take a moment to explain what's been happening and what you can expect going forward.

Why the Delay?

Due to an overwhelming demand for our custom playmats and some challenges in our production schedule, we've had to temporarily pause orders for Stitched Edging Playmats. As many of you know, these mats are highly popular, and the addition of the stitched edges adds a special touch that many of our customers appreciate.

However, with the increased volume of orders and some unforeseen production delays, it’s taken longer than expected to replenish our stock. We understand how frustrating this can be, especially when you’re eagerly waiting to complete your order with the perfect playmat.

When Will They Be Back?

The good news is that our Stitched Edging Playmats are expected to be back in stock soon. We’re currently anticipating that they will be available for purchase again in approximately 2-3 weeks. We're working hard to ensure that they meet the same high-quality standards you've come to expect from Inked Gaming, and we’re doing everything we can to get them back in production.

We’ll also be updating our website to let you know as soon as they’re available. If you’d like to be notified the moment they’re restocked, you can sign up for updates directly on our site. This way, you’ll be the first to know when you can place your order!

Thank You for Your Patience

We want to thank you for your continued support during this time. We know how important it is to get the right playmat for your gaming setup, and we're committed to providing the best products and service possible. We truly appreciate your patience as we work through this delay.

In the meantime, we encourage you to explore our other products, including our wide variety of playmat designs and accessories. Whether you're gaming at home or in a tournament, Inked Gaming has something for everyone.

Final Thoughts

We know you’re excited to get your hands on our Stitched Edging Playmats, and we share in your excitement. We’re almost there, and we promise that the wait will be worth it. Thank you again for your support and understanding. We can’t wait to get your next order to you!

Stay tuned for more updates, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Best regards,
The Inked Gaming Team

I’m in the same bucket as the other commenter here. I placed an order on November 13 before this blog post was made. I did not order any custom designs. The artwork I chose were from artists on your website and products listed as “in stock.”

I’ve since contacted customer support twice to get updates for my order and, in both of those interactions, I was not informed of this issue. Both gave different estimates for how long it would take to ship the mouse pads I ordered—the first saying 10-15 business days, the second a week later saying 15-20 business days. Not a single mention of production issues or delays in the manufacturing of these items. I was also told my order would be shipped out today but that has not happened and clearly won’t be possible.

Not a great impression for someone who is a first-time customer.

Why is there no option to cancel orders for products that we cannot receive in a timely manner? If you can’t produce the items that’s totally okay, but to hold our money and not be able to fulfill the order with no option for the consumer is terrible customer service.

My order for 3 mats is now approaching a month of waiting time and I no longer want these. I would prefer to buy a stitched solution elsewhere. Inked Gaming may have good quality, but I have yet to find out due to this delay, and having my order held up with no recompense does not leave a good taste in my mouth. If I ever do manage to get these mats, they will be the only things I order from Inked.

I can respect a “no returns allowed” once you’ve begun production. In this case, you’re not able to produce and you still don’t allow cancellations. It’s inappropriate.
