What do you mean by “custom”?

If you design it, we can make it a reality. Any image or design can grace your next playmat, dice bag, mousepad, tote, crate, tapestry or hoodie. Your imagination is the only limitation. Well, that and our policy regarding unacceptable images.

 

What constitutes an unacceptable image for custom submissions?

We cannot print any trademarked or copyrighted work without permission. This includes company logos, sports teams logos, college logos, artists’ work that we do not feature on our website, etc. Please refrain from uploading anything that contains content that defames or vilifies any person, people, race, religion or religious group and/or is obscene, pornographic, indecent, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.

 

If I have an idea for a custom image, will Inked Gaming design it for me?

At this time we are in the business of printing and manufacturing, not of designing. Eventually, we would like to have a collective of artists who are willing to take on commissions so that we can point interested customers in their direction… but for now, we are not able to provide this service.

 

How do I submit a design?

What if I don't want to crop my image and just have it all squished to fit onto the mat?

We can scale your image out of proportion for you. Just upload your image and in the special instructions box make sure to state that you want us to ignore the cropped image and instead skew the image to fit the product ratio.

 

What resolution do you print at?

We recommend submitting your image at 150 PPI. While we frequently receive and print images at 72 and 96 PPI, and make them look magnificent, we strongly recommend submitting at 150 PPI. We are happy to accept images up to 300 PPI! 

How long will it take to get my order?

Most orders are processed (printed, packed, and shipped) within 5 to 10 business days. If you choose a service that requires editing, it will add a few days to processing time. The rest depends upon what shipping option you selected. Sewn products can take up to 14 business days before shipping. You can check the item’s page to see any delay notifications. Please let us know if you have any time constraints in the special instructions box when checking out. International orders can take anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks for delivery. Please note that there could be unforeseen delays, such as inclement weather. If something like this is to occur, we will be sure to notify our customers via Facebook, Twitter, and our email list. Make sure you are signed up for these notifications.
  • We ship in "business days". That is Monday - Friday, excluding holidays. View a full calendar of our business days here.
  • Shipping time is calculated from the initial shipping date. Not order date. Your shipping confirmation email will include a tracking number. Tracking numbers may not be active until the following business day.

My order says it's "Unfulfilled", what does that mean?

Thank you for your order! When orders show as "Unfulfilled" on our site, it simply means that they are currently in our production process, but have not shipped yet. But don't worry, we'll let you know when it's done! The status of your order will change to "Fulfilled" and you will receive an email with tracking information once your order has exited production and is shipped.

What is the Delivery Guarantee?

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes we do! We ship to the vast majority of countries.
However, at this time 48x48 and 48x72 inch Wargaming Mats, Puzzles, trading card products, magnets, Funko Pops, t-shirts, and other marked or unmarked products are not able to be shipped to most countries outside of the US.

Please note, you are responsible for any fees, duties, or taxes that may be charged by your country’s customs office.

How do I track my order?

You will receive an email that includes tracking information once your order has been produced and is ready to ship. The tracking number may not become live until the next business day after shipping.
For International orders when your order is handed off to the local postal service you can find their tracking number under "Delivery by USPS Int'l" or "Delivery by Postal provider" in the upper right-hand box on the DHL tracking page.

I forgot to apply my discount code, what can I do?

No worries! Please email us at support@inkedgaming.com with the discount code you would like to apply. Our team will confirm that the discount applies to your order and then issue you a refund for the proper amount. Please note that we are unable to apply discount codes after 48 hours of purchase.

What is the "Kraken Cards In Store Pickup" shipping option?

At this time, this service is no longer available. 

 

What type of printing process do you use?

This is not your run-of-the-mill screen-printing process. As Wikipedia helps explain, we use a dye-sublimation printing process that is used to print on polyester or other synthetic fabrics. It is used for applications such as T-shirts, banners, table covers, sportswear and flags. The original printers were an electrostatic technology using toners but now are generally large format inkjet printers using specially formulated inks. The dye sublimation inks are a pigment suspended in a liquid solvent, like water. The images are initially printed on coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 180 to 210 degrees C (375 degrees F). Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image.
Advantages of dye-sublimation over other methods of textile printing:
  • Images are permanent and do not peel or fade.
  • Dye does not build up on the fabric.
  • Colors can be extraordinarily brilliant due to the bonding of the dye to the transparent fibers of the synthetic fabric.
  • Truly continuous tones can be achieved that are equivalent to photographs, without the use special techniques such as half-screen printing.
  • The image can be printed all over the entire item, with no difficulty in printing all the way to the edges.

Do you sell trading cards?

Yes!

Is it possible to clean my playmat and/or mouse pad?

We recommend trying a hand wash first to remove any soiling. Thanks to the ink sublimation process, our playmats and mouse pads are machine washable though. Wash separately using the delicate/gentle cycle with a small amount of mild non abrasive soap. Lay flat to air dry. 

Will my mat be the exact size listed on the website?

Because mats are rubber and cloth placed under high temperature and pressure, the final size may vary by a small amount (1.5%).

What currency are products listed in?

All of our products are listed in USD which is presented with "$." For those of you in Canada and Australia this will cause a difference in what you are charged from what is shown at checkout.

How can I manage my subscriptions?

Managing your active subscription(s) is fairly simple. Just log in to your account on our site using your email and password and click Manage Subscriptions. From there, you will have a host of options/actions to choose from, which you can use to edit your subscription. Those options include:
  • Canceling a subscription
  • Updating billing information
  • Skipping a delivery
  • Updating your shipping address
  • Adding a product to your subscription
  • Swap a Product

How do I cancel my subscription?

We’re sorry to see you go, but we made this as easy as possible to cancel subscriptions in your account! Log in to your account on our site and click Manage Subscriptions. Click on the Subscriptions tab and select the subscription you want to cancel. Click Cancel Subscription at the bottom of the page and follow the onscreen steps to finish canceling. Then you’re done! If you ever want to reactivate, simply log back into your account, select the inactive subscription on the Subscriptions tab, and click Reactivate.

How do I update my subscription billing information?

Need to update your billing details? No problem. Anyone who needs to update this info can easily do so by selecting the Payment Methods tab and then selecting Payment Details. You can then edit the payment method that you want to use for each subscription you're signed up for according to the shipping address profile. This option can come in handy if you ordered a Gift Subscription for a friend. You can also easily view, select, and individually edit your different subscriptions on the Subscriptions tab.

How can I skip a subscription delivery?

If you want to skip a delivery, for whatever reason, you can do so with ease on the Subscription tab by clicking the subscription you want and selecting the Skip Shipment option. This can also be done from the Delivery Schedule tab, where you can select Skip on the corresponding date for your delivery.

How do I update my subscription shipping address?

Easy-peasy. Anyone who needs to change their shipping address for future drops can select the subscription on the Subscription tab and then click on your shipping address. You will have the option to edit the current address, choose from a list of previous addresses you've used in your account, or add a whole new address.

 

How do I do returns or exchanges?

Can I cancel my order?

Once we start production on a custom order, we cannot cancel it and the sale is final. If you want to cancel an order, please let us know right away. We sometimes can start working on an order the same day it is being placed.

Playmats Questions

  • How thick are your playmats? Our standard playmats are about 1/16" thick. They roll up easily and lay flat on the table when in use.
  • What is the difference between a regular and oversize playmat? The oversize playmat is 4" wider (28” wide) than a regular size playmat of 24” wide x 14” high. This additional width gives some extra play space which really helps for those who play Commander or other games. Other than the 4 extra inches the mats are the same.
  • How do playmats get shipped to me? They are rolled and shipped in a tube. We never fold our mats for shipment.
  • Can you do more custom sized mats? Sorry! The sizes we have listed are the sizes we can make. If you have a middle-sized image you can have it printed onto a larger mat and then trim it down the mat once it arrives.
