Mobile Phone Game Review: PUBG Mobile

mobile phone game review: pubg mobile

Hey, everyone! Thanks for joining me once again for another fun mobile phone game review! This week, I have a game that most of you may already be familiar with. PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS has become quite popular on consoles, but until recently, I wasn’t aware of just how popular it is for mobile players as well. In fact, there are many who have said that PUBG Mobile is even more fun than playing on console because you can load up and go to war with other players whenever, wherever!

While battle royale-style multiplayer games are not my first choice (I come from the COD and GTA online instant respawn world), I couldn’t help but give this game a go. After all, what did I have to lose, right? So, if you’ve played PUBG on consoles or have yet to try it, I think you’ll be interested in what it has to offer on mobile!

Here we go!

What is it?

PUBG Mobile is a free, online multiplayer shooter game that is exclusively available on Android. Just like the console version, PUBG invites you to take part in a wide variety of different online play modes and deathmatches. Take your shooter/survival skills to the frontlines of the battle against other players from around the world. And now that PUBG has come to mobile, the fun is not restricted to your home or gaming cave.

PUBG Mobile allows you to get into the fight wherever you are. Whether you’re at work, in school, or just waiting in an airport terminal, you can step onto the battlefield and join the action anywhere, any time. Packed with massive maps, awesome weapons, and non-stop action, this game has everything that a war game needs and more. The only question is: who will be the last one standing once the last shot is fired and the dust has settled?

What did you think?

Simply put, I thought this game was AWESOME! At first, I wasn’t expecting much, since most mobile games never quite live up to their original console versions. However, I can honestly say that the second I entered the battlefield, I was blown away (both literally and metaphorically). The control felt good and the graphics were actually quite impressive. In fact, even the game manufacturers themselves have said that PUBG Mobile delivers console-quality graphics and performance. With that in mind, I was expecting something close to the console version, but not this strikingly close.

While I’ve come to love the online battle royale mode that the game presents, my only wish is that one day they will create an offline mode with bots for practicing. Also, there are a few bugs and annoying lags that still need to be sorted out, but again, those are par for the course when it comes to online multiplayer gaming. Plus, with all of the maps, vehicles, customizations and terrain, this game has a lot to carry on its back, which is why these little glitches are somewhat expected every now and then.

In all, the game looks, feels, and plays just like the console version, which is why I, and many others, have become quite obsessed with it. In fact, I’m sure there are some players who look for long lines and pools of traffic just so they can have an excuse to get a session in on their phones. Given how good, and often addictive, this game can be, I can’t say that I blame them.

Would you recommend this game?

HECK YES! Whether you’ve played PUBG on console or not, this game is definitely worth the 2GBs of memory. Again, this game is not only fun, but it really puts your skills to the test each time you play. And with so many awesome skins and weapons to unlock along the way, I guarantee that you will never get tired of playing it. Plus, the latest updates, like Metro Royale, make you want to play it even more.

So, yes! I would recommend PUBG Mobile to anyone who enjoys the battle royale style of online gaming and looking for a challenge. With all of these elements and attributes combined, I think it’s fair to say that this game will stay at the top of my list for quite some time! But don’t just take my word for it. Head over to the Google Play store and try it for yourself.

As always, I thank you for taking the time to read through this latest Mobile Phone Game Review. I’m fully committed to continuing this series while Sarah is off slaying dragons.
