Hello and welcome back to another epic Mobile Phone Game Review with yours truly...Vince the Prince! In case you didn’t tune in last time, I’ve taken the liberty of continuing this series for Sarah and I’m super excited to have you on this journey with me. I’ve got some great mobile phone games in store for this review series and I think we’re going to have a ton of fun together!
In this post, we’ll be delving into the ever so popular Marvel Universe with a squad RPG game that’s got gamers even more attached to their phones than they were before. I don’t know about you, but any game that can create that kind of obsession is definitely worth playing and reviewing!
So, let’s dive into…
Marvel Strike Force
What is it?
Marvel Strike Force is an action-packed squad-based RPG that was first released on Android and iOS platforms in 2018. The story is set up like this: The evil Overlord known as Ultimas has launched a full-scale attack on earth. And now it’s up to the Super Heros and Super-Villains to put aside their differences and join forces in order to defend our planet. As a commander in Nick Fury’s S.H.E.I.L.D., you are tasked with carrying out operation S.T.R.I.K.E., which requires you to assemble your special squad of heroes and villains alike.
Even the deadliest of foes will need to converge in order to stop Ultimas from carrying out his plan to conquer the Earth as we know it. That means Spider-Man, Wolverine, Thor, Captain America and Daredevil will have to fight side by side with powerful villains like Carnage, Loki, Red Skull, Bullseye and many others. As squad commander, you must strategically use the abilities of all of your squad members if you are to defeat Ultimas and his army from taking over the planet! This is sure to be a battle for the ages!
What did you think?
I’ve been looking for a substitute for the old Marvel Alliance games. You know, something that goes beyond the average Avenger game. And with Marvel Strike Force, I have finally found it! I love building hero teams into fun squads with different powers and abilities. Slinging webs, slamming hammers and shooting off some rounds all in the same breath makes this game truly awesome. Plus, I like the fact that it lets you recruit and play as Super Villain characters, because let’s be honest, sometimes it’s good to be bad.
I’ll admit, understanding how the game works and how to advance takes a little time and patience. But once you get the hang of it, the game really sucks you in. Overall, I REALLY enjoyed this game! The story, gameplay and combat sequences are equally impressive and make the game that much more addictive, at least to me. The graphics are actually pretty solid also (for a mobile phone game). If it looks good, plays good, and feels good, I’m into it!
Would you recommend this game?
Definitely! If you loved the Marvel Alliance games, I highly recommend that you get this game downloaded ASAP! Like I said, it takes a while to get used to the gameplay and how it works, but don’t let that scare you off. With a ton of cool features and a great community of players, it’s easy to see why its popularity is growing among long time gamers. So, I would absolutely recommend this game to all Marvel fans who love squad building with legendary heroes as much as I do!
