Check it out! Yesterday Evil Geniuses announced that they have been acquired by PEAK6 Investments LLC. With this change, Nicole LaPointe Jameson is going to be the new CEO of Evil Geniuses while Phillip Aram will stay on as the COO, focusing on EG’s competition performance.

As we all know, esports is an ever growing and evolving industry. It seems like something new and exciting has happened every time I check the news on my phone. According to EG’s announcement, they believe that Nicole is the perfect candidate for them at this time. She is reported to have a passion for esports and extensive business experience. This, combined with Phillip’s knowledge and expertise, could potentially result in some big things on the horizon. Personally, I think it will be interesting to see what other moves the company makes in the near future.
