By now, most of you know that this year is a special one for Pokémon. 2021 makes 25 years since the popular TCG first introduced itself to the world and our tabletops (or wherever you play). In light of their milestone anniversary, Pokémon has been releasing special edition gear left and right. Cards, collectibles, games, oversized goods, promos, apparel, and so much more.

I know that we’ve covered this in other blogs, but this time, I wanted to point out some of the gear that’s closer to home. Specifically, the special 25th Anniversary gear that we currently have listed on the site right now. I actually wasn’t aware of exactly how many Anniversary pieces we had until I started looking around. Our site is a big place, packed with a wide range of gear, especially on the Pokémon page. So, I thought it would be good to show them off all in the same place.

You’ll notice that each product has a special 25th Anniversary badge printed on it. You know, the one that looks like this:

Something tells me that this logo will be quite significant in the years to come, which is why I plan to put my 25th Anniversary gear in a safe place for the next 25 years. Just like the million-dollar bike I talked about in that giveaway blog. No, I didn’t win the bike, but at least I still have a few small pieces of Pokémon history that may be worth double, or triple, or better (if we’re lucky) as the years go by.

There are still a few months left in 2021 and there’s still time for us to add more 25th Anniversary gear to the site. I don’t know which items may or may not be coming next, but I do know that the items that we have right now would make a nice addition to any collection.
