Primary game you stream? Why do you stream this game in particular?

My main game is The Elder Scrolls: Legends (TESL).  First and foremost I stream the game because I love to play it, a lot of my game time off-stream is spent in TESL too.  Second is the ability to interact with people, chatting to the community during the games and seeing the reactions to plays (and misplays) is priceless.  I'm not a particularly competitive player, I don't enter tournaments - largely because of timezones - but I have worked really hard to achieve 5x Top 100 Ladder finishes.

Streaming and achieving high ladder rank is a very difficult thing to accomplish in most digital card games!

If you’re looking to take a break from your primary game, what are some fun secondary games you enjoy?

In the CCG space it's Mythgard for sure. Easy answer. This game is still in alpha (at the time of writing), but being able to see how it continues to evolve and develop is fascinating.  It's complex, full of moving parts and I love the way it makes me think.

Outside of CCGs it varies, but I lean towards RPGs.  Currently I'm diving into Elder Scrolls Online which has been so much fun - it's like seeing cards from TESL come to life!

Why do you stream? The love, the money, the fame?

The love. Any income that I make from streaming is a great little bonus that I save towards upgrades for the stream.  Fame isn't for me, I still wanna rock up to my local store in grubby clothes and no makeup!

As a successful Twitch Partner, what are your goals now with streaming on Twitch?

I haven't set myself any goals with streaming recently, I want to focus on enjoying streaming as my hobby without putting pressure on myself.  I work full-time in finance and I absolutely love my job - I have no delusions of grandeur and I'm not aiming to make a living from streaming any time soon.

What are some hobbies you like to do when you’re not live on Twitch?

There isn't a lot of time outside of streaming and working full-time!  I love to play video games, I'm a huge bookworm and I love to spend time with my husband.

What is the biggest piece of advice you would give to someone who is looking to get into content creation?

Is it cliche to say, be yourself?  I think that's the most important thing.  Whilst I don't begrudge those who are aiming to make streaming their career I find it really grinding being in a stream where the streamer is obviously focused on numbers.  Relax, play your game (or whatever you've decided to stream), be yourself.  Build your community and get to know the other streamers in the same genre - you might be surprised how willing people are to help.

Eolis always reppin' Inked well.

Is there anything you would have done differently when you were first starting streaming? What was the big, “lightbulb” moment for you?

Oh boy.  The first day I went live I googled "How can people watch me play games?" ...Yes, really.  I wish I had researched more as I entered the world of Twitch without understanding a lot more about it.  My lightbulb moment came from my first host, 1st Mar 2018, where I learned in one stream what hosts were and what alerts were... I cringe thinking back on my naivety!

Any parting words of advice, shout outs, projects that people should be aware of, or anything else you would like to talk about?

As a content creator do not be afraid to reach out to people, so many of the amazing opportunities I've had have come from me asking.  Developers and publishers often have assigned Community Managers who generally really want to help you showcase their games!

Oh, one more thing. If you could shrink down any animal and carry it around in your pocket, which one would you choose?

Behemoth Spawn (the ephemeral token from Behemoth in Mythgard)
