What is Inked Gaming?

Every gamer is an individual, and at Inked Gaming, we strive to provide you an outlet to express yourself through gaming accessories. We do this by offering playmats, dice bags, mouse pads, and sleeves in two ways: an ever-growing selection of designs submitted by artists from around the world, and by specializing in custom designs submitted by you at the point of sale. Your game. Your style.

What do you mean by “custom”?

If you design it, we can make it a reality. Any image or design can grace your next playmat, dicebag, mousepad, or card sleeves. Your imagination is the only limitation. Well, that and our policy regarding acceptable images.

What constitutes an unacceptable image for custom submissions?

We cannot print any trademarked or copyrighted work without permission. This includes company logos, sports teams, college logos, other artists’ work, etc. Please refrain from uploading anything that contains content that defames or vilifies any person, people, race, religion or religious group and/or is obscene, pornographic, indecent, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.

If I have an idea for a custom image, will Inked Gaming design it for me?

Unfortunately, we are in the business of printing, not of designing. Eventually we would like to have a collective of artists who are willing to take on commissions so that we can point interested customers in their direction… but for now, we are not able to provide this service.

What if I don't want to crop my image and just have it all squished to fit onto the mat?

We can do that for you. Just upload your image and in the special instructions box make sure to state that you want us to ignore the cropped image and instead squish the image.


Shipping Information:

How long will it take to get my order?

Most orders are processed within 2-4 business days. This means your order will be printed, packed, and sent to the post in that time. If you choose a service with editing then that will add a few days to processing time. The rest depends upon what shipping option you selected. Dice bags and sleeves can take up to 14 days before shipping, as these are hand-made off-site. Check out the item page to see any delays in production. Bulk orders can vary depending on the size. Please let us know if you have any time constraints in the special instructions box when checking out. International orders can take anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks for delivery. Please note that there are unforeseen delays that must be sometimes be accounted for, such as inclement weather. If something like this is to occur, we will be sure to notify people via Facebook, Twitter, and our email list. Make sure you are signed up for those so that you will know what’s going on!

  • We ship in "working days". That is Monday thru Friday, excluding holidays.
  • Your shipping time is calculated based on the point your order ships and you get a tracking number from us.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is dependent upon your order and your selected method of shipping. There is a nifty shipping calculator located in your cart that will help with estimates. We offer free shipping to anyone in the United States that spends more than $50.

Do you ship outside the US?

Yes we do! The cost can be estimated by examining your cart. Please note, you are responsible for any fees, duties, or taxes that may be charged by your country’s customs department.

How do I track my order?

When placing a domestic order, you will receive an email that includes tracking information. International orders receive tracking information up to the point where the order leaves the United States.



What type of printing process do you use?

This is not your run-of-the-mill screen-printing process. As Wikipedia helps explain, we use a dye-sublimation printing process that is used to print on polyester or other synthetic fabrics. It is used for applications such as T-shirts, banners, table covers, ID cards, sportswear and flags. The original printers were an electrostatic technology using toners but now are generally large format inkjet printers using specially formulated inks. The dye sublimation inks are a pigment suspended in a liquid solvent, like water. The images are initially printed on coated heat-resistant transfer paper as a reverse image of the final design, which is then transferred onto polyester fabric in a heat press operating at a temperature around 180 to 210 C (375 F). Under high temperature and pressure, the dye turns into a gas and permeates the fabric and then solidifies into its fibers. The fabric is permanently dyed so it can be washed without damaging the quality of the image.

Advantages of dye-sublimation over other methods of textile printing:

  • Images are permanent and do not peel or fade.
  • Dye does not build up on the fabric.
  • Colors can be extraordinarily brilliant due to the bonding of the dye to the transparent fibers of the synthetic fabric.
  • Truly continuous tones can be achieved that are equivalent to photographs, without the use special techniques such as half-screen printing.
  • The image can be printed all over the entire item, with no difficulty in printing all the way to the edges.

Is it possible to clean my playmat and/or mouse pad?

Thanks to the ink sublimation process, our playmats and mouse pads are machine washable. Use the delicate cycle (or handwash) with mild soap. Lay flat to dry.

Will my mat be the exact size listed on the website?

Because mats are rubber and cloth placed under high temperature and pressure, the final size may vary by a small amount (1.5%).


 Returns and Exchanges

We make all our orders on demand. Custom order are not eligible to be returned unless there is an error that happened by our fault. If the image turns out pixelated or too dark because the image that was uploaded, we wont' be able to accept a return. Since it is a custom order getting the return, we won't be able to resell it, so no exchanges are allowed either on custom orders. 

My item was damaged or delivered incorrectly, what do I do?

Bummer! We will replace that right away for you. Follow the steps below.

  1. Use our Contact Form to let us know of the issue right away. We want to know within 3 days of receiving your item. Please include a picture of the issue. 
  2. We will email you a return shipping label and you can use the same shipping tube to ship them item back to us. 
  3. We will send you the corrected item as soon as we receive the damaged one back. 

I am not happy with this item, can I return it or exchange it?

Any items that are store designs can be returned for an exchange to a different item. We want to make sure you are using the accessory you really want! Follow these steps.

  1. Use our Contact Form to let us know of the return right away. You have 3 days to decide if you want to exchange the item or not.
  2. Ship the item back to us. You will have to cover the shipping charges for the return. But we will cover the shipping charges for the replacement!
  3. We will send out the item you want right away once we get the return. We can also send you a gift card for the return amount if you want to wait until later to choose a new item.

Can I cancel my order?

Once we start production on a custom order, we cannot cancel it and the sale is final. If you want to cancel an order, please let us know right away. We sometimes can start working on an order within 8 hours of it being placed. 


Item Specific Questions


  • How thick are your playmats? Our playmats are about 1/16" thick. A little thicker. They roll really well and lay flat on the table when in use.
  • What is the difference between a regular and oversize playmat? The oversize playmat is 4" longer than a regular size playmat. It gives some extra play space which really helps for those who play Commander or other games. Other than the 4 extra inches the mats are the same.
  • How do playmats get shipped to us? They are rolled and shipped in a tube. We never fold our mats for shipment.
  • Can you do more custom sized mats? Sorry! The sizes we have listed available are the sizes we can make. If you have a middle sized mat you can have it made on a larger surface and then cut the blank area off once you receive it. 

Custom Sleeves

  • Do you have different sleeve sizes available? I am sorry right now we only have the one size. If we get a smaller version we will make sure to let the world know. 
  • Why do I have to wait so long for sleeves to ship? Custom sleeves take a while to make and the demand for them is pretty high. The more orders that come through the longer the queue is for shipment. We like to keep the item page updated with shipping times so you can check and see when to expect your order to ship. Remember that we count days as business days. (Mon - Fri not counting holidays)
  • Do I have to use the border on my sleeves? Yes the border is necessary for the process that we use.
