Grab The Force Unleashed for FREE during Prime Day!

It’s been a while since we had a Star Wars update in our wave, so we just had to add this story to this week’s edition. After all, when a classic, iconic video game like The Force Unleashed is being offered for free, we can’t ignore it.

Yep, the force is definitely with us this week, as Amazon Prime announced just yesterday that it will be giving away a free copy of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for PC. As one of the best and most memorable Star Wars video games ever to be released, this FREE offer is a great opportunity for gamers to relive the classic adventure. It also gives younglings the chance to experience it for the first time, if they haven’t downloaded the latest version of Nintendo Switch. Even 15 years later, The Force Unleashed still is an amazing game that holds a special place in our hearts.

If you wish to score The Force Unleashed for free during Prime Day, you’ll have to be an Amazon Prime subscriber. If you’re not, you can always sign up for a 30-day free trial and still claim the game free of charge. Again, this offer is for the PC version only, and it will only be available for a limited time (until August 14, 2023). So, if you want it, you should grab it sooner than later, that way you won’t forget. The same goes for free trial users as well.

EA’s new Black Panther video game is in the works!

It’s finally happening! EA has again partnered with Marvel to bring a new Black Panther game to life. According to reports and announcements, Wakanda will be a third-person, single-player adventure that fans are sure to enjoy. The news on this game first broke earlier this week, and it’s gained a lot of attention in the gaming community so far, even with very little revealed. All we have is the info that is posted on EA’s site and the super short teaser from their Twitter.

Since the game is still only in development, EA and Cliffhanger (EA’s newest studio) are keeping the game under wraps and not giving too much info about it yet. However, they have told us that Wakanda will be rich with detail and authenticity that will immerse players in an open world filled with action.

Here’s a quote from Cliffhanger’s project leader:

“We want our game to enable players to feel what it’s like to be worthy of the Black Panther mantle in unique, story-driven ways, and we want Cliffhanger Games to empower everyone on our team as we collaborate to bring this amazing world to life.”

Again, details are scarce at this time, but with so many awesome characters, creatures, and settings to work with, EA and Cliffhanger have a golden opportunity to make this game a centerpiece of the Marvel game universe. It can also give gamers a new way to experience the world of Wakanda and become T’Challa. We’re definitely going to keep this game on our radar, and think you should too!
