Pre-order MTG Assassin's Creed Cards Now!
In addition to the Fallout crossover that’s coming next week, MTG also announced that their next video game crossover set is available for pre-order right now! That’s right, the upcoming Universes Beyond set based on Ubisoft’s epic Assassin’s Creed series can now be ordered ahead of its official summer launch.
Just like previous Universes Beyond crossovers, this one includes a host of packs that are designed to give players everything they need before they charge into battle. These packs include a Starter Kit and Boosters, all of which can be pre-ordered today. Here is a peek at what those sets look like:
Features 2 ready-to-play 60-card decks (including 2 Mythic Rare card and 8 Rare cards), 1 Learn-to-Play Guide, and 2 boxes to store your decks
Features 9 Assassin’s Creed Beyond Boosters, 1 Traditional Foil alt-art card, 40 Land cards (20 foil, 20 nonfoil), 1 Spindown life counter, 1 card storage box, and 2 reference cards
Features 12 Magic: The Gathering - Assassin’s Creed Collector Boosters, with 10 MTG cards in each pack

It’s time to dust off the hidden blade and start taking down your enemies with stealth and swift precision. Several Team Inked members have already pre-ordered their sets and can’t wait for things to heat up this summer. Previews are coming in June and will be followed by the official release on July 5th. So, if this is the crossover you’ve been waiting for, we suggest that you lock in your set/booster now!
Pokémon TCG Announces Pocket App!
We knew that big things would be coming after the Pokémon Presents event, and we can’t wait to see them come to life. The big one everyone is waiting for is the new Pokémon Pocket app that gives players a new way to open packs and collect cards…in the digital world. It was actually cool to see this first-hand during the event.
The Pokémon Pocket app allows Trainers to open two packs per day for FREE. This introduces players, both new and old, to a whole new experience when it comes to collecting cards. The game also features ‘immersive cards’. These cards are more like collectibles that give you a more in-depth look at art printed on specific cards. This is what collecting Pokémon cards in the digital world looks like, and we think it’s going to be ground-breaking. You can get a better idea of how this works in the trailer HERE.
The app/game also gives players a new way to play with the actual cards that they collect from each pack, which is also really cool. No official release date has been announced yet. All we know at this point is that Pokémon Pocket will be launched sometime in 2024. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for more updates on this, and suggest that you do too.
