The Weekly Wave

Welcome back to Inked Gaming’s Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!

MTG’s new Transformers Crossover

There’s nothing like a fresh MTG crossover, and according to an announcement that was made at Hasbro Pulse Con 2022, there’s another cool one coming very soon! For those who don’t know, Magic’s The Brothers' War expansion is scheduled to release in November. In the collector’s booster sets and the Brother’s War decks, players will find the cards featured in MTG’s newest Transformers crossover. Six of those cards/characters have already been revealed: Optimus Prime, Goldbug Starscream, Soundwave, Flamewar, Slicer!

Here’s a peek at what some of those cards look like!

MTG Transformers Crossover

Hasbro has also revealed that we can expect 15 cards in this crossover, all of which will be two-sided. One side will show the vehicle disguise for each robot, while the other side will show the robot themselves, allowing players to switch up strategies. The cards in this crossover will have two art forms, regular and Shattered Glass. Shattered Glass shows the Transformers in an alternate universe. In this alternate universe, the Autobots are the villains and the Decepticons are the heroes.

If you haven’t already, you can watch Day 1 of Hasbro Pulse Con HERE. Be on the lookout for more announcements and updates over these next few weeks as well. There’s a good chance that some other big reveals will be made before the set is scheduled to release on November 18th.

Let us know if you have any other details on this crossover in the comments below!

Flesh and Blood Championship

The inaugural Flesh and Blood World Championships has officially been announced! This event will take place in San Jose, California Convention Center, and according to FAB, it will test players like never before. Of course, with a $300,000 prize pool up for grabs, such a challenge is expected.

FAB Championship

The Flesh and Blood World Championship is by invitation only and will call upon those who rank in the top 50 global leaderboard. However, players can also earn invites based on their XP points or if they redeemed a PTI (Pro Tour Invitation) from a previous event. The invited players who choose to take part in the championship will be competing in three formats: Classic Constructed, Uprising Draft, and Blitz Constructed. Players can also take advantage of side events, cosplay, and more. There are some special guests and artists set to make an appearance as well.

This is a three-day event that will begin on November 3rd and end on November 6th. Here’s the link to get your registration in. You can also find more info about the Championship via FAB’s official site HERE.

New Frank Frazetta Art available now!

If you’re a fan of Frank Frazetta’s art, and the pieces that we’ve printed them on, then you’re going to love the designs that were just added to our site this week. That’s right, another batch of the Godfather’s work has come to our collection and is currently featured on more of our playmats, dice bags, mousepads, and more!

Just like the first batch of art we received, these designs are some of Frank’s most memorable pieces, as they were also featured on several magazines and comic book covers. And now, they are giving our gaming gear the same touch of magic!

Check these out…
