The Weekly Wave

Welcome back to the Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!

Tiffany & Co. Releases Pokémon Jewelry

2023 has been a busy year for Pokémon, and with this latest partnership with one of the world’s most prestigious jewelry companies, it’s about to get even busier. Pokémon and Tiffany & Co. have come together to release a beautiful jewelry line based on some of the series’ most beloved characters/creatures.

This new line comes just in time for the holiday season and will surely be on a lot of shopping lists. But, if you’re looking to save some bucks this year, it’s best that you don’t try to catch’em all. There are nine pieces featured in this collection, which includes necklaces/pendants made from precious silver and gold. Picture Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Mew, and Cubone looking like that. You can also get a piece that has all six of them on one chain.

The price tag for these precious pieces range from $1,300 to $29,000. Of course, the most expensive piece is the Pikachu pendant made from 18-karat solid gold with diamond accents.

Pokémon Jewelry

Each piece also comes in a special Pokémon ball jewelry box, which is a treasured gem itself. Tiffany’s Pokémon jewelry collection will be for sale starting on November 29th, but they only be available on their website for just 24 hours. So, if you’re looking for a special piece for that special trainer in your life, be sure to catch one before the window closes.

Tomb Raider Explores Magic: The Gathering!

Lara Croft has been on some exciting adventures in her time, but nothing will come close to the action she will see as the newest crossover for MTG’s next Secret Lair coming out next week. This Tomb Raider Secret Lair crossover set features seven cards, such as The Lost Valley, Lara Croft herself, Storms of Yamatai, The Grim Whisper, Totec's Spear, Kitezh, Sunken City, and Treasure. Lara is the only card in the set that is not a reprint of existing MTG cards.

Actually, Lara’s card is described as “mechanically unique” as it allows players to create Treasure tokens when they attack. The Tomb Raider crossover set will become available on November 20th. Just like all the other Secret Lair crossovers that came before, this one will have traditional foil and non-foil versions and will only be available for a limited time.

You can find more details about this Tomb Raider MTG crossover set on MTG’s official website.
