Welcome back to the Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!

A new Pokémon series is coming in 2023!

Last week, Pokémon made a big announcement that has fans looking forward to a fresh adventure next year. After 25 seasons of following Ash and Pikachu championship in Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series, Pokémon is finally ready to introduce us to a new story and a new group of friends. 

The details are still a little scarce, but what we do know so far is that this new animated series will present two new characters (a boy and a girl) who are on the path to becoming the very best. The series will also feature Pokémon from the Scarlet and Violet games. Again, we don’t know all the specifics yet, but let’s just say that Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly are in the conversation. Even with new characters and creatures, Pokémon has made it clear that we can expect the same action-packed battles and encounters that made the original series such a success.

We plan to keep this story on our radar as it develops, especially now as we approach the new year. In the meantime, you should keep an eye on Pokémon’s site for more details, and be sure to let us know if you hear of any announcements or updates on this over the next month or so. We would like to see some more info come out by the end of January.

Inked Gaming’s Featured Artist of the Week!

Ever since Jessica Feinberg joined the Inked Gaming artist community, her work has been admired and adored by our customers. With such a magical gathering of fantastic characters and creatures, it’s no surprise how she landed on the list for our Artist of the Week Feature. 

For those who don’t know, Jessica’s designs have made their way into books, decks, card sets, and games.
