Just because they call themselves 90s MTG doesn’t mean their artwork is strictly retro. In fact, when we first heard the name, we were expecting to see a lot of designs that remind us of what Magic was like, and what it looked like, back when we were still in school. While this is true for how they play the game today, it’s a bit different for their artwork. Instead, their collection of art brings us to forests, islands, and beaches, which serve as beautiful backdrops for our favorite game(s). As passionate gamers and artists, 90s MTG gives us the best of both worlds, which is why we’re happy to have their work featured on our playmats.
