Artists: Mathew Son Hing

Hey, I'm Mat, and I have a degree in Video Game Design and Development. I love playing Magic: the Gathering and I enjoy sketching concept art for comics, fantasy, sci-fi and storybooks. I like to change my style up from image to image to keep my work fresh and artistic. I made my own playmat a while ago, and ever since I made it, everyone has given me comments on it, so I figured that maybe this could be a direction to take my art skills. I value colour theory very highly in art, and I try to reflect that in my work. Usually the best playmats I've seen are the ones with the nicest colours. I'd like to bring some nice designs to fellow players and get an understanding of what people want to see in a nice mat. I welcome feedback or requests on designs and future styles. I just want to put up nice looking mats.
