im a 33yr old trucker from indiana. growing up i watched alot of star trek, and that lead me to starting astrophotography a couple years ago. i may not be the best, or look like a hubble picture, but i try. my current set up is an orion sirius az/eq-g pro goto tracking mount. sitting on the mount is an orion 130st, that i use to align the mount, and to line up my cameras scope. piggy back on the orion is a borg 77edii. connected to it is a canon 450d full spectrum modified camera. after taking 1-3min exposures in raw, i stack them in astrophotography processing software, then touch them up with gimp or light room. any of my space pics take anywhere from 3 to 6 hrs start to finish to complete.
