Pokémon Day 2024 Promo Card!

There’s a lot going on in the Poké-sphere this week, and everyone should be looking to get in on the action…while they still can. Recently, Pokémon announced that a special promo card was going to be available for Trainers in honor of Pokémon Day 2024. This promo card features the mighty Ceruledge and can be obtained from either the Pokémon Center or select retailers.

The card itself features amazing art of Ceruledge in action, but what Trainers/collectors really want to see is that special Pokémon Day stamp in the right corner. As we all know by now, these cards always appreciate with age. So, if you snag one in 2024, you’ll definitely be happy when 2044 comes around. So, how do you go about grabbing this exclusive promo card?

Well, the best place to start would be the Pokémon Center. Anyone who enters the code pday2024 at checkout will have this card added to their order for FREE. The offer will not be available until February 23, 2024, so just be aware of that before you head over to the center. Another way to swipe this promo card is through retailers like Best Buy and GameStop.

Also, starting on February 23rd, Trainers can find this promo card at Best Buy and GameStop storefronts. It’s worth noting that the code is not mentioned or attached to either of these stores, so it may require you to spend a certain dollar amount at checkout instead. Again, nothing will be available until the 23rd.

In the meantime, keep your calendar circled and the promo code close by if you intend to get this card through the Pokémon Center. Perhaps we’ll get more details about the retail store promo requirements as we draw closer to the release date. We’ll see.

Pokémon GO’s Carnival of Love is live!

It’s mid-February, and love is in the air…everywhere. That’s exactly what Trainers will see when they access the new Pokémon GO Carnival of Love event taking place over these next couple of days. The event officially began on February 13th and will last until 8 pm local time on February 15th. During the event, Shiny Oricorio will make its grand entrance along with some sweet bonuses that you won’t want to miss.

Two Candy XL bonuses will be available, which can be scored by walking with your buddy and evolving Pokémon. Actually, Trainers will receive two guaranteed Candy XL for evolving Pokémon. Oricorio is running around in various regions, so just be aware of that as you see their many forms throughout those regions.

Pokemon GO also invites Trainers to complete the Love Collection Challenge, which involves catching and evolving a host of different Pokémon, including Snubbull, Skitty, Roselia, Luvdisc, Furfrou, and more. Those who do complete the challenge before the event ends on February 15th will receive:

• 5,000 XP
• 2,500 Stardust
• Roserade encounter

Pokémon GO is also offering something called, “Carnival of Love Paid Timed Research”. By purchasing this offer for $1.00, Trainers can obtain Timed Research that will be exclusively available for this event. Trainers who are able to complete these research tasks will be awarded with the following:

• Stardust
• XP
• Two Incense
• Five encounters with Spinda with a heart pattern.
