Due to their size, 48" x 48" Wargaming Mats are not able to be shipped internationally. They are just too long for the carriers to handle without folding them in half, and we do not wish to do that to them. The mats that is, not the carriers. I mean we don’t want to fold the carriers in half either. That would just be a bit rude really.
Wargaming Mats are approximately 36" x 36" or 48" x 48" with Square Corners. It is made out of polyester with anti-slip rubber backing.

Because mats are rubber and cloth placed under high temperature and pressure, the final sizes may vary by as much as 1.5%. This also affects 1-inch grids by shrinking them slightly.

CanadaOrdered this one and the blue one as they had the option to come with white hexes. The hexes are subtle and don't detract from the artwork while still being visible. Looking forward to my group's next Starfinder space battle.
Big crease down the middle and several other folds that were not going away. Have had it laying flat since I received it and no difference. I put some heavier flat objects on it and the side ones went away but I can't get rid of the large one down the center from where it was folded to fit in the shipping tube. It is absolutely though beautiful and good quality, perfect thickness. A little disappointed its 36x35.5 but they do say that can happen so no big deal there. Can't use it for tournament play anyway (x-wing). Perfect for my home games or other casual games.
The graphics on this mat are stunning! The mat itself if thin and flexible for easy storage but the perfect texture for cards to be placed on it without them sliding around. When it arrived, the off gas was very strong but it aired out overnight in the garage and has no scent now.
