The Weekly Wave
Welcome back to the Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!
Pokémon TCG Live has an official launch date!
It’s been two years since Pokémon first announced its plan to launch a fresh version of its popular online TCG. Since then, Pokémon TCG Live has been pushed further down the calendar, allowing Pokémon TCG Online to last a little longer than expected. However, last week, the community received word that Pokémon TCG Live’s official release is just around the corner!

This announcement means that Pokémon TCG Online’s days are numbered and will be coming to an end very soon, but long-time players of the old digital version have no reason to fret. Pokémon has made it clear that both Online and Live will have the same login steps, and those who log in to Live will automatically have their Online data (and account info, if any) transferred over to the new app.
Here’s a short snippet from their press release:
“TCG Live offers beginner and veteran players a fun and accessible way to experience the Pokémon TCG, including various gameplay modes, daily quests, customizable avatars and Pokémon TCG accessories, as well as fan-favorite activities like building decks and battling friends.”
Prior to its official release, Pokémon released a global beta for TCG Live that began earlier this month and will last until June 6, 2023. All those who participate in this beta between now and June 6th will receive some cool, commemorative items to celebrate the official launch of TCG Live. Those items include card sleeves, a deck box, and a coin. So, if you haven’t logged in to the beta yet, you may want to get your name down sooner than later. Here’s the link to the beta login.
Pokémon will be shutting down Online on June 5, 2023. After that, we will await the arrival of TCG Live, which will launch worldwide on June 8, 2023. From there, Pokémon TCG Live will be available to download on Android, iOS, and PC devices. We’ll be counting the days!
Stitched XL 36” x 18” Extended Mousepads are back in stock!
In the wake of last week’s wave, we received some exciting news that we want to make sure gets to the entire Inked Gaming community. After a hiatus from our collection, we’re happy to announce that Stitched XL 36” x 18” Extended Mousepads have returned and will once again be available for our customers while supplies last!
Size, style, and sturdiness are three key features that make our mousepads among the very best. While giving your mat a more durable look and feel, stitched edges can also help fend off fraying, which weakens your mousepad over time. Stitched edging has always been a popular option for our mousepads, especially the bigger ones, and we’re thrilled to have them back in the fold.
Due to their demand, there’s no telling how long these Stitched XL 36” x 18” Extended pads will be around. We can only say that they will be available while supplies last. So, we want to encourage all of our customers to snag one as soon as they can. This latest wave of stitched mousepads is huge, and we don’t want to see anyone miss it!
Find your ‘key’ to victory in our fresh spacebar keycap collection!
In addition to the Stitched XL Extended mousepads, we also welcomed a fresh batch of spacebar keycaps to our site…and they look amazing! Whether it’s an in-house art or a custom design of your own, these keycaps can spice up your setup and give your battlestation the extra dash of personality that it needs.

It’s been a while since we’ve seen some fresh faces in our keycap collection, but we’re glad that we were able to push all the right buttons, so to speak, and get those added. If you think that your setup is missing a ‘key’ piece that can give your game and battlestation more life, this is where you will find it! Our spacebar keycaps are OEM 6.25u and 1.5 mm thick, making them a good fit for most mechanical keyboards with an ANSI layout.

As long as you’re here, you may try matching a keycap with one of our mousepads to give your setup a more complete look. With so many awesome arts and patterns to choose from, you’ll be amazed by some of the cool combos you can create!
That’s all for now! Stay tuned for our next edition of The Weekly Wave for more fun stories and updates!
Sincerely,
Inked Gaming
