Welcome back to Inked Gaming’s Weekly Wave! Let’s see what news, updates, and announcements have risen to the surface this week!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel is live!

Around this time last year, we covered Konami’s big announcement that introduced new updates and game titles that were set to launch in the Yu-Gi-Oh! universe. Since then, updates for Duel Links, Master Duel and Rush Duel have been launched, and just yesterday, the last title in that lineup officially went live…worldwide!

Yu-Gi-Oh! Cross Duel is a free-to-play mobile multiplayer that is now available for download on iOS and Android. The game features three different modes (four-player versus, four-player co-op, and single-player) that welcome players to what Konami calls an “innovative and dynamic card battle experience”. So, whether you want to battle with/against friends or go solo, Cross Duel has a game mode for every duelist.

There are also some other cool features sprinkled into Cross Duel, including monster customization, stunning 3D renderings, and even a cast of characters from the animated series that players can combat or collaborate with. One other key point that Konami highlights, as far as gameplay is concerned, is that Cross Duel brings that old-school TCG feel that fans love most and makes it easy and enjoyable for players on every level.

Journey to Masters Sweepstakes!

In case you didn’t hear, Pokémon Masters EX announced their Journey to Masters Sweepstakes last weekend, and there’s still time to get your entry/entries in! All you have to do is head over to their official Campaign page and enter your info (name, email, age), at the bottom of the page. From there, you will be given a list of actions that will allow you to enter the sweepstakes.

There are a total of nine actions listed, which means you can get up to nine entries. These actions include pretty simple tasks, such as following and retweeting Pokémon Masters on Twitter, visiting their Facebook and Instagram pages, stopping by their official website site, and more. They even offer you the chance to earn two more entries just for answering two questions. We’re not sure if those questions are all the same for everyone, but ours were pretty fun and straightforward: 

1. Who’s your favorite Trainer from the Pokémon Adventures manga? 
2. Which is your favorite sync pair from Pokémon Masters EX?

You can leave us your answers to those in the comments below if you want. 

So, what kind of prizes are up for grabs in this new sweepstakes? Well, there are three tiers. There’s the Gem Bundle, the Trainer Celebration Bundle, and the Ultimate Trainer Bundle. Each bundle has its own set of prizes, which range from gems to apparel, and even Blu-ray/DVD sets. Here’s a little breakdown of what’s included in each bundle…and how many winners each bundle will have:

• Gem Bundle – 10 winners will receive 3,330 gems!

• Trainer Celebration Bundle – 3 winners will receive 3,330 gems and an XL sweatshirt randomly selected from the Pokémon Trainers Collection!

• Ultimate Trainer Bundle – 1 lucky winner will be rewarded with 33,330 gems and much more!

You can get all the details and lists of prizes via the Pokémon Masters campaign page HERE. The sweepstakes officially went live on August 28th and will remain open until September 22nd. So, you still have some time to get your nine entries counted. Good luck!

Be on the lookout for Treasure!

The Treasure Chests come packed with premium pieces that are worth at least double the value of the goods included in the Elite Boxes. We can’t tell exactly what you’ll find inside your Treasure Chest, but just know that the high-value loot it contains won’t cost you a penny extra.
