We would like to introduce Caroline Sébayhi, a wonderful illustrator who has provided us with a few designs (with more to come) that cater to a population we have been wanting to give more attention: the Pokémon community.
When Caroline approached us about submitting her work, we were beyond excited. Just look at these designs!
In an attempt to get to know this artist a little better, we decided to ask Caroline a few questions about herself and her work, which we have shared with you below.
When did you start designing/creating art?
I don't remember exactly when I started, as it is just something I have always done. But I started to use my passion as an art when I entered in E-Artsup, a graphic school in Paris. I love illustration and graphism, and I wanted to combine them.
What medium do you use to create your art?
I use Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop CC to paint, and for effects, I use Photoshop CC.
Why did you choose Pokémon to be the focus of your artwork?
I have drawn Pokémon all my life. Pokémon was released in France when I was 6 years old. It became very popular very quickly, so I started to draw all 151 Pokémon. I love that. I didn't stop!
Do you game at all?
Yes, I play Pokémon TCG! I really love this game, and I collect them, too. Not only that, but I am an official Judge. I started playing when I was 14, and have never stopped.
